How to distinguish the model of electric vehicle batteries
What are the models of electric vehicle batteries
Let's first talk about the classification of electric vehicle battery models. Generally, electric vehicle batteries are divided into four types: 24V, 36V, 48V, 60V, and 64V. Among them, 36V and 48V are the most common, accounting for more than 95% of all electric vehicle users. There are four types of power batteries that can be used by electric bicycles, namely valve regulated lead-acid maintenance free batteries, colloidal lead-acid batteries, nickel hydrogen batteries, and lithium-ion batteries.
36V is commonly used in two types: 36V10AH and 36V12AH, with some also using 36V14AH, 36V17AH, and 36V20AH.
The commonly used 48V are: 48V10AH, 48V12AH, 48V14AH, 48V17AH, 48V20AH, and some also use 48V15AH, 48V16AH, 48V18AH, 48V22AH, and 48V24AH, which are rarely used.
How to distinguish the model of electric vehicle batteries
1, Output voltage on charger
1. The output voltage of 36V is 36V-42VDC * * A.
If it is 1.5A, then it is 10AH.
If it is 1.6A, then it is 12AH.
2. The output voltage of 48V is 48V-59VDC * * A.
If it is 1.7A, it is 48V10AH.
If it is 1.8A, it is 48V12AH.
If it is 2.0A, it is 48V14AH.
If it is 2.3A, it is 48V17AH.
If it is 2.5A, it is 48V20AH.
2, Single capacity
Open the electric vehicle battery box and count how many batteries there are. If it's three pieces, then generally it's 36V. Note that three batteries may not necessarily be 36V, they may be 48V. It is important to check whether the battery is labeled as 12V or 16V. If it is 12V, then the three batteries are 36V, and if it is 16V, then the three batteries are 48V.
If it is 4 pieces, then it is generally 48V. Of course, it needs to be distinguished whether it is only 12V or 16V. If it is only 12V, then it is 48V, and if it is 16V, then it is 64V.
If it's 5 yuan, then it's 60V. Once the voltage is determined, determine the capacity. If the battery is labeled as 6-DZM-10, then it is 10AH. If it is 6-DZM-12, then it is 12AH, and so on.
Of course, there are also some small manufacturers who have the phenomenon of electric vehicle battery size being falsely labeled, such as 6-DZM-14, which is actually a national standard of 10-12AH, and 6-DZM-20, which is actually a national standard of 17AH. Therefore, it is recommended that when purchasing batteries, you choose a reputable battery manufacturer.
